Directly contributing to requirement 12.6, training not only provides the necessary knowledge but helps you achieve compliance
Since the first training course in 2012, the PCI DSS SIG has provided training for over 500 individuals working within the HE/FE and Council sectors, providing them with working knowledge of PCI DSS.
Taking into consideration the unique challenges our member organisations face when it comes to applying PCI DSS, the SIG has developed the Foundation & Practitioner courses that put PCI DSS in the context of our members unique environment.
PCI DSS Foundation (1 day)
An introduction to PCI DSS; enabling delegates to gain a base level of understanding of the standard as a whole, its intent, and what this actually means to a typical institution including the kind of scenarios it is likely to encounter (i.e. how to analyse compliance for areas of the institution which process card data).
Vital and informative for anyone working with card data
PCI DSS Practitioner (2 days)
Building on the Foundation Course, this two day training course has a deeper focus on PCI DSS and its implementation within the merchant’s environment. The course is aimed at those who are responsible for implementing and managing PCI DSS.
A well delivered course that was useful in reinforcing the 12 requirements necessary for PCI DSS compliance
All PCI DSS SIG member institutions receive a number of training places on the training courses. If you are not a PCI DSS SIG member institution, please contact us for more information.
